Senior APHC leader Javaid Ahmad Mir Tuesday while condemning the killing of an innocent youth in a “fake encounter” in Tral said the incident is the first gift from PDP-BJP led government to the people of Kashmir.

“A civilian youth namely Khalid Muzzaffar and Younis Gania were gunned down by troops wantonly and without any provocation in the area,” he said.

“The incident is the first gift from PDP-BJP led government to the people of Kashmir,” he said, adding, “the International communities should intervene in the matter to stop the day to day human rights abuses in Kashmir in the name of so-called peace.”

He said at one hand the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is “exploiting” the peace in various international forums, “but on the other the Indian Army is busy in the bloodshed of the innocent Kashmiri people.”

He said the blood of innocent Kashmiris “is used for to just gain the medals and high ranks”.
