The Cabinet which met here Monday under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed ordered following transfers in Police Department.
Dilbag Singh, Managing Director, J&K Police Housing Corporation has been transferred and posted as Director, Sker-i-Kashmir Police Academy, Udhampur vice Rajesh Kumar. The post of Director, SKPA, Udhampur has been declared equivalent in rank and status to that of ADGP in terms of Rule 11(1) of IPS (Pay) Rules, 2007 till held by the officer.
Arun Kumar Choudhary, IGP Headquarters, PHQ has been transferred and posted as MD J&K Police Housing Corporation in the rank and grade of IGP vice Dilbag Singh.
Rajesh Kumar, Director, Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy, Udhampur has been transferred and posted as IGP, Headquarters, PHQ vice Arun Kumar Choudhary.
J.P. Singh, IGP Traffic, J&K be transferred and posted has been Commissioner, Civil Military Liaison in the Home Department against an available vacancy.
Viplav Kumar, DIG, awaiting orders of adjustment in PHQ has been posted as DIG Traffic, Jammu relieving Ashkoor Ahmed Wani of the additional charge of the post. Viplav Kumar shall also to hold the charge of the post of I/C IGP Traffic, J&K till further orders.
Sunil Dutta, SSP CID Cell, New Delhi, has been transferred and posted as Commandant JKAP 4th Bn against an available vacancy. Puran Chand Kilam, Addl. SP CID Cell, New Delhi shall also hold the charge of the post of SSP CID Cell, New Delhi in addition to his own duties till further orders.
Suhail Munawar Mir, SSP Baramulla has been transferred and posted as SSP PCR Srinagar vice Imtiyaz Hussain Mir.
Rajeshwar Singh, AIG (Welfare) PHQ has been transferred and posted as SSP Rajouri vice Dr Mohammad Haseeb Mughal who shall await orders of posting in PHQ.
Sandeep Wazir, SP SSG has been transferred and posted as SSP Kishtwar vice Yougal Kumar.
Imtiyaz Hussain Mir, SSP PCR Srinagar has been transferred and posted as SSP Baramulla vice Suhail Munawar Mir.
Yougal Kumar, SP Kishtwar has been transferred and posted as Dy. Commandant IRP 17th Bn. against an available vacancy.
