Srinagar: Terming it as misinformation spread by miscreants on social media that the flowers at Tulip Garden in Srinagar Kashmir have been damaged due to incessant rains, Director Floriculture Muhammad Hussain Mir has clarified that all the varieties of the Tulips are intact and the wrong information spread by miscreants have their own vested interests.

Mir told local news agency CNS that the garden is in full bloom and every visitor can enjoy the wonderful sight of tulips here. “It is baseless that Tulip Garden has been closed due to rains. There is no truth in it. The Tulip Garden remains open from 7 in the morning till 8 evening,” he said and added that not a single variety of tulips has been damaged due to rains.
“Those spreading this wrong information are the enemies of Kashmir who don’t want tourists should visit Kashmir,” he said.
Pertinently, world famed Tulip Garden located in the foothills of Zabarwan was thrown open for visitors on 1st April and since then visitors have continuously been visiting the garden.
