SRINAGAR: The Army on Thursday said that one unidentified militant has been killed during an ongoing operation in the Basantgarh area of Udhampur district.
In a post on microblogging platform X, the Army’s White Knight Corps said, “In the ongoing joint operation by the Indian Army and Jammu & Kashmir Police in Basantgarh, one individual has been neutralised so far.”
Earlier, contact was established following a joint search operation launched by the Army and Police based on intelligence inputs.
