Police on Friday detained Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chief Yasin Malik after he tried to march towards the UN office in Sonwar area of Srinagar.
The joint resistance leadership had called for a march to the United Nations Military Observers Group in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP) today.
Reports said that Malik was detained by policemen outside the mosque of Dastgeer Sahab (RA) in Sarai Bala area of Srinagar.
