Srinagar
One person was killed and another four injured after a man fired with his licensed gun in Uri town of Baramulla district on Wednesday.
The incident took place when scuffle broke out between two parties over a land dispute, locals said.
After the brawl erupted one person brought in his licensed gun and opened fire, eyewitnesses told Kashmir Life over phone.
The person who opened fire has been identified as Mushtaq Ahmad and the deceased has been named as Jawaid Ahmad ,28 , S/o Ghulam Nabi Chalko resident of falikote Uri.
The injured have been referred to sub-district hospital Uri.
However, police officials did not comment on the incident immediately
