In yet another major decision, Governor N N Vohra has directed the General Administration Department (GAD) to recall the personal staff of all former PDP-BJP Ministers.
Top sources in the administration told Kashmir Life that GAD has issued a circular asking such officials to join back their parent department. “The order was issued on Thursday,” sources said.
Notably, the popular PDP-BJP coalition government ceases to exist after PDP president, Mehbooba Mufti, chose not to take oath as CM after ex-CM and her father, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, breathed his last in AIIMS at New Delhi on January 07 2016.
J&K is under governor rule since last Saturday.
The sources further said that the officials, who are mostly in winter capital this time, shall start joining their parent departments soon.
