SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Police said they have arrested young man for raping a minor of his locality in Srinagar.
“One Accused namely Sajad Ali Sofi of Gulshanbagh, Lal bazar arrested for raping a minor girl of same locality (name withheld),” the Srinagar Police said in a tweet. “In this regards FIR no 53/2022 under sections 376 of IPC and sections 3/4 of POCSO Act stands registered at Lal Bazar PS.”
