Chairman Jammu and Kashmir People’s Conference Sajad Gani Lone welcomed the joining of Naseer Ahmad Baht in to the party at Handwara. Naseer, a sarpanch, is a young, dynamic and noted political activist from Lalopra , Lolab. He was the State Vice-President of Youth Congress.
Speaking on the occasion, Sajad said, “Youth is young blood of nation and active worker of nation. His role in the nation building and development is imperative. The youth of Kashmir are aware of the problems facing by our state. Given a chance they would be ready to change the political & economic condition of the state for better. But despite making too much noise by the traditional parties, young people are not given opportunities to prove themselves claiming that they are not equipped with experience to participate actively in the governance of the country. The nation desperately needs the services of the youth in the development process.”
He asserted that we need to develop a critical mass of young, honest and successful politicians so that they can become a motivational role model for others to follow.
Speaking on the occasionNaseer Ahmad said,” I decided to join Politics and committed to make a change. I want to carve space for youngsters in order to form a vibrant, inclusive politics across J&K. I am impressed by the dynamic and visionary leadership of Sajad Gani lone and I Joined my hand with him to fight against the corrupt and tyrant politicians and my struggle will continue to bring relief to the people of my area.”
