Youth who sustained grievous injuries in a road accident in Sattani area of Udhampur district of Jammu on Thursday succumbed to his injuries at Jammu hospital.
Reports said that youth identified as Sameer Ahmed Rather aged 22, son of Sunaullah Rather was critically injured after he met with an accident. The people including Sameer were injured when a car they were travelling in met with an accident in Udhampur district.
Soon after the incident, both the injured men were taken to hospital for the treatment, however, Sameer-who had received grievous injuries, succumbed to his injuries on Friday late evening.
Meanwhile, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
