Srinagar

The opposition National Conference (NC) on Thursday held a massive protest demonstration against price hike, civilian killings and day-to-day restrictions in down town areas of Srinagar.

Raising anti-government slogans hundreds of NC workers, led by senior party leader Ali Muhammad Sagar, were holding placards and banners.

The march started from party headquarters at Nawa-e-Subh complex and was headed to Raj Bhawan. However Police intercepted them near Ram Munshi Bagh police station.

Provincial youth president, National Conference, Salman Sagar along with many others were detained by police.
