Bhartia Janta Party and National Panthers Party members tried to overpower independent lawmaker Er Rasheed in the well of the legislative assembly on Tuesday but the timely intervention of Tarigami, Hakim Yasin and Mohamamd Akbar Lone saved him. The ruckus in the assembly well went too high that speaker announced the adjournment of the house.
The trouble started when Er Rasheed, Tarigami and Hakim wanted to know under what rules the resolution of Er Rasheed was disallowed. Rasheed’s resolution seeking the mortal remains of Afzal Guru was disallowed by the speaker yesterday.
Rasheed, Tarigami and Hakim Yasin protested against the disallowing of the resolution and the BJP, NPP party strongly protested against them which caused the ruckus in the assembly and later followed by the adjournment.
