The Cabinet which met Monday, under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, approved promotion of Ambarkar Shriram Dinkar and Vinod Kumar, IPS officers of 2011 batch to the Senior Time Scale of IPS Pay Band-3 of Rs 15600-39100 with GP of Rs 6600 with effect from 1-1-2015.
Meanwhile, the Cabinet also approved promotion of H. R. Bhagat, Joint Director, Planning, as Director Planning in the pay scale of Rs 37400-67000 with GP of Rs. 8700.
The Cabinet also accorded sanction to the upgradation of the post of Assistant Director, Library in the Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs from existing pay scale of Rs. 9300-34800+ GP Rs. 4800 to the pay scale of Rs. 15600-39100 + GP of Rs. 6600 and its re-designation as Deputy Director (Library) in the personal capacity of the incumbent namely Mohammad Ashraf Wani.
The post shall cease to exist immediately after transfer, promotion, and retirement etc of Mohammad Ashraf Wani and thereafter, the Post of Junior Librarian shall get restored in the department.
