Clashes erupted between the police, CRPF men and protesters on Thursday in Panzan area of Chadoora tehsil in central Kashmir’s Budgam district after forces foiled a freedom rally.
The rally was proposed at Panzan, however, police and other forces erected barricades on ways leading to the venue and foiled it.
As people tried to clear the barricades, local sources told Rising Kashmir that forces resorted to tear gas shelling resulting in clashes.
Meanwhile, residents of Tral area in south Kashmir’s today alleged that forces including army committed atrocities on unarmed people resulting in injuries to many.
People of Dadsar, area hit the streets and started protesting against what they called government force’s highhandedness.
Local sources said that force was used against the protesting people resulting in clashes.
