DSEJ Revokes Suspension Of Two Officials

   

SRINAGAR: The Directorate of School Education, Jammu (DSEJ) has reinstated two suspended officials following a review of non-gazetted suspension cases in the Jammu Division.

The orders were issued pursuant to the decision taken by the Review Committee at its meeting on August 22, 2026, which examined suspension cases in the division.

Tehseen Ahmed, Teacher at Government Middle School (GMS) Senote, Zone Surankote, who had been suspended through Government Order No. 86-JK(Edu) of 2022 dated February 28, 2022, has been reinstated.

The Directorate said the period of his suspension would be decided after disposal of the criminal case. His reinstatement will also remain subject to further review if any contrary facts emerge during the course of investigation or enquiry.

The order further states that his reinstatement is subject to the outcome of any court case pending before a competent court of law.

In a separate order, Ashwani Badyal, Master, DIET Kud, presently attached to High School Katti in Udhampur district, has also been reinstated.

The period of Badyal’s suspension will be treated as on duty as per applicable norms, to be determined by the competent authority.

Following his reinstatement, Badyal has been posted at High School Katti, Udhampur, against an available vacancy of Master.

His reinstatement is likewise subject to the outcome of any pending court case before a competent court of law.

Both orders were issued by the Director, School Education, Jammu, in light of the Administrative Department’s communication dated August 18, 2026, and the Review Committee’s decision on the suspension cases.
