Police said it has solved many burglary cases after arresting four burglars. From them the police in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district have recovered stolen property worth lakhs.

During past three months some burglary cases were reported from Chadoora area, police said. In this regard case FIRs 97/2016, 120/2016 and 121 of 2016 were lodged in Police Station Chadoora. To speed up the investigation, Superintendent of Police Budgam constituted a special investigation team (SIT) under the supervision of SDPO Charar-i-Sharief and investigation was taken up.

During the course of investigation a number of suspects were rounded up for questioning and ultimately the investigating team succeeded to zero in on four suspects identified as Umer Reshi, Reyaz Ahmad Dar,  Arshid Ahmad Dar all resident of Zuhama, and Ishfaq Ahmad Hajam a resident of Rangger Chadoora. During questioning these suspects confessed the crime burglaries.

The police team recovered 03 bikes, 04 LEDs, 01 Scanner, 01 Inverter, 01 sound box, 02 Setup boxes, 03 Batteries, 03 Laptop, 01 Video Camera, 03 Digital Cameras, 30 Mobile phones and other item on their instance.
