 Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah on the third consecutive day Friday met as many as 60 deputations from all across the State besides scores of individuals to hear their problems for redressal.

The deputations from Srinagar, Baramulla, Sopore, Kupwara, Budgam, Islamabad, Bijbehara, Pulwama, Pampore, Banihal, Ramban, Poonch, Surankote and other areas in their separate meetings with the Chief Minister discussed matters relating to the development scenario and laid stress for addressing the issues relating to the delivery of public services and completion of ongoing schemes. Employment generation issues and youth welfare affairs were largely discussed by these deputations during their separate meetings with the Chief Minister.

The deputations of youth from various areas particularly from Srinagar expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for scraping the new employment policy. They said that this step of the Chief Minister has been welcomed by all sections of the society particularly the unemployed youth seeking employment in various government departments as also by those newly appointed employees who have been greatly benefited by this step.

Various associations of Adhoc and Contractual Employees in their meetings with the Chief Minister requested for their regularization so that their economic condition gets a fillip.

Dozens of political activists alongwith deputations in their interaction with the Chief Minister discussed political matters. Omar Abdullah said that additional focus would be concentrated on issues pertaining to youth and their welfare. He said the initiatives taken for generating employment and broad basing job opportunities for youth would be further strengthened.
