Jammu Kashmir Govt Declares 47 Senior Secretariat Assistants Quasi-Permanent

   

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has declared the services of 47 Senior Secretariat Assistants as quasi-permanent under the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Temporary Service) Rules, 1961.

The decision was issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) through Government Order No. 1175-JK(GAD) of 2026, dated July 7, 2026. The order was issued in exercise of the powers conferred under Rule 3(1) of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Temporary Service) Rules, 1961.

The officials regularised under the order are serving in the Civil Secretariat and various government departments and offices across the Union Territory, including the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat, the Chief Secretary’s Office, the Chief Minister’s Service and Outreach Office (Raabita), the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB), and several administrative departments.

Among those whose services have been declared quasi-permanent are Mohammad Musaib Tali; Pervaiz Ahmad Parry, Soba Ram, Shahjahan Majeed Zargar, Aadil Ahmad Dar, Jyoti Devi, Aman Kumar Sharma, Irfan Ahmad Khan Goger and Zahid Mohd Wani from the JKSSB; Mohammad Yaseen Dar, Komal Bhagat, Muzamil Bashir, Abdur Rouf Laway, Abdul Rashid Ganie, Mohd Quayum, Chetan Bazal, Imtiaz Ahmed and Yasir Fayaz Lone from the General Administration Department.

The order also covers Ajay Singh and Devinder Singh Bagyal from the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat; V. Jyoti Parkash and Waseem Junaid Khan Gojer from the Office of the Chief Secretary; Bishal Kumar from the office of the Deputy Chief Minister; and Ishfaq Ahmad Khan from the Chief Minister’s Service and Outreach Office (Raabita).

Other officials include Fasil Wali Dar and Iqbal Mushtaq (Forest, Ecology and Environment Department); Gulzar Ahmad Sofi and Sanjay Sharma (Transport Department); Aabid Hussain Wani (Science and Technology Department); Irfan Ashraf Sheikh (Social Welfare Department); Javid Ahmad Mantoo and Zeeshan Rashid (Finance Department); Irshad Ahmad Malik, Sachin Sharma and Altaf Hussain (Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department); Ekta Devi (Hospitality and Protocol Department); Imtiyaz Ajaz Malik (Information Technology Department); Mohd Idrees Qureshi (Agriculture Production Department); Syed Basharat Hussain (Information Department); Irfan Hassan Teli (Public Works Department); Mohd Shamsheer (ARI and Trainings Department); Achal Khokher (Industries and Commerce Department); Abilash Sharma (Planning, Development and Monitoring Department); Ghulam Mustafa and Adil Bashir (Health and Medical Education Department); Mohd Riaz (Tribal Affairs Department); and Gulzar Ahmad Dar (Floriculture, Gardens and Parks Department).
