SRINAGAR: Several areas of Srinagar and Pulwama districts will face scheduled power outages on August 22, 27 and 29 due to maintenance shutdowns of 33 kV transmission lines, the Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) said on Friday.
According to KPDCL, power supply to Sonwar, Shivpora, Panthachowk, Batwara, WSS Tangnar, Summerbugh, Government Press, GB Panth Hospital and adjoining areas will remain affected from 8 am to 11 am on August 22 due to the shutdown of the 33 kV Pampore-Badamibagh line.
Similarly, power supply to Kakapora, Pahoo, Nehama, Newa, Gudoora, Parigam, Singoo Narbal, Zadoora and adjoining areas will be affected from 9 am to 2 pm on August 27 and 29 due to the shutdown of the 33 kV Pampore-Pulwama line.
KPDCL has advised consumers in the affected areas to make necessary arrangements in advance.
