SRINAGAR: The Administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh has placed the services of Assistant Professor of History, Kousar Fatima, at the disposal of its Higher Education Department following the ongoing apportionment of manpower between the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
According to Order No. 312-LA(GAD) of 2026, issued by the General Administration Department, the officer has been deployed with immediate effect for her further posting in the Higher Education Department in the interest of administration.
The order states that the deployment follows her apportionment to the Union Territory of Ladakh under Government Order No. 800-JK(GAD) of 2026, issued by the Jammu and Kashmir Government on April 16, 2026.
Following the apportionment, Fatima formally joined the Ladakh Administration on June 15, 2026, the order said.
