Army in league with the National Skill Development Corporation Thursday organized a ‘Youth Guidance Mela’ and screening interview at Manasbal in North Kashmir’s Bandipora District.
Army said that, 13 Rashtriya Rifles posted at Mansbal Camp in a bid to help the youth of the area with placement of jobs carried out guidance and counselling programmes for them.
“The representatives of NSDC under ‘Project Udaan’ conducted screening interviews, guidance and selection of graduate and post graduate students who will be further imparted training and will be placed with reputed companies,” the statement reads adding that over 150 youth of the area availed the opportunity to showcase their talent.
Army said that the youth of the area turned up in large numbers to avail the benefits of the programme.
