It has been revealed that land measuring 13424 Kanal, 10 Marlas and 77 Kanal, 0.5 Marlas is under the occupation of Army and the Security forces respectively in Nubra Constituency of Leh district without any regularization.
Government says that the District Administration and the Defense Officer Leh have started the process of joint verification and conciliation so that the possession of the land can be regularized from the date of its occupation.
The order has brought respite to the people as the possession of the land will be regularized from the date of its occupation. Government says, “As the regularization will be done from the date of its occupation so the question of loss does not arise.”
