SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Police, along with the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), conducted a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Batamaloo area of Srinagar on Thursday.
Security forces cordoned off parts of the area and conducted searches at multiple locations during the operation.
Personnel from the 49 and 28 Battalions of the CRPF, along with the Special Operations Group (SOG) and civil police, are participating in the operation.
Quick Action Teams (QATs) of the CRPF have also been deployed as part of the security arrangements.
