At least two political leaders who were detained since August 5 were shifted back to their residences on Sunday, where they will be placed under house detention, sources told KNS.

They said the leaders who were released include Peoples Democratic Front Chairman Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen and PDP leader Mohammad Ashraf Mir.

Sources said the leaders will be now placed under house detention.

Meanwhile, curbs on the movement of three other leaders who were under house detention since August 5, were lifted on Monday, they include, DPN President Ghulam Hassan Mir, PDP leaders Dilawar Mir and Abdul Rehman Veeri. (KNS)
