One person died after he got electrocuted in south Kashmir’s Islamabad while a PDD employee got electrocuted in north Kashmir’s Bandipora on Wednesday.
A painter Rafiq Ahmad Dar, son of late Ghulam Nabi Dar of Kanganhall Achabal got electrocuted while painting in a house at Ganish Pora Ashmuqam and died on spot.
After completing medico-legal formalities, police handed over the body to the next of his kins for last rites.
In another case, a PDD employee Shams-ud-Din Rather son of Mohammad Ibrahim of Sultanpora got electrocuted while repairing transformer at Sultanpora. He was shifted to JVC Hospital, Srinagar for treatment.
