SRINAGAR: University of Kashmir (KU) invites applications for the post of Junior Project Fellow (JPF) in the Department of Zoology, funded by the JK Science Technology and Innovation Council, Department of Science and Technology, the government of Jammu and Kashmir.
Candidates with an MSc degree or equivalent in Zoology (Entomology) can apply. Students having NET/SET or research experience in fruit fly management will be preferred.
The selected fellow will receive a fellowship amount of 20,000 INR per month. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The maximum duration is two years.
The selected candidate will work on the assigned project “Monitoring and management of Tephritid fruit flies infesting Stone fruits of Kashmir Valley” for two years.
The last date to apply is March 10, 2024.
