An official from the railway department said that incessant rains from past two days have caused the water logging at Hillar, in Islamabad and water is running over the track, which could cause a disruption if the trains run over the watery track.

Following the incident, the authorities have suspended the service, “the service will be restored once the water level will go down,” he said.

“Announcement made by station master Banihal that all train service has been cancelled till further order due to water logging at hillar,” Zonal railway police wrote on its official Twitter handle.
