As the lower house of state legislature was waiting for the Speaker to resume proceedings, there were informal exchanges between the treasury and opposition benches.
“You will be there for six years,” NC lawmaker Akbar Lone told one PDP minister. “But we will keep you on thorns for all these years.”
Lone who has headed this house told the minister in high pitch voice: “You committed a mistake by bringing BJP into Kashmir. People are not happy with this and there is resentment.”
The former speaker whose tenure was marked by controversies said that there was still a chance, “you come out of this alliance.”
This made almost everybody in the house to laugh.
