SRINAGAR: Government of Jammu and Kashmir Directorate of Skill Development is inviting online applications from eligible candidates. Application process is ongoing and will last up to June 21,2023 for admission in Government/Private ITI’s of UT JK/Ladakh. The academic session will begin from 25th September, 2023.
There are a variety of courses available including Sewing Technology, Data Entry Operator, Dress Making, Tourist Guide among others. Qualification varies for different courses. Candidates having a minimum age of 14 years are eligible to apply except for Driver cum mechanic for which minimum age is 18 years. There is no upper age limit for any course.
Documents required include Marks certificate of qualifying examination, Date of Birth Certificate, Category Certificate (if applicable), Aadhar Card and Domicile Certificate
After finalizing the profile and online application, candidates will be required to deposit print out of the system generated application in the concerned ITI in which the candidate is applying along with self-attested photo copies of above mentioned documents.
The candidate is required to pay a fee of Rs.100 per trade in which he/she is seeking admission against cash receipt from respective ITI. The selection of the candidate will be made purely on basis of academic merit.
