GRIPS Research Internship in China Opens Applications For 2026

   

SRINAGAR: The Global Research Immersion Programme for Young Scientists (GRIPS) in China is inviting applications for its Summer Research Internship, 2026. This programme offers 100 internships providing international undergraduate and graduate students an opportunity to gain research exposure in fields like social sciences, natural sciences, medicine and life sciences, engineering and technology and other interdisciplinary subjects.

The duration for the internship is around five to six weeks from the month of June to August, 2026, allowing participants to intern at China’s top four universities that include Zhejiang University, Fudan University, Nanjing University, and the University of Science and Technology of China. The deadline to apply for the programme is March 1, 2026.

The eligibility Criteria involves that applicants must be pursuing undergraduate and graduate courses from a recognized University in their home country, have a strong academic record with a CGPA of ‘B’ or above, proficiency in both verbal and written English and the undergraduate applicants must have completed at least two years of their Programme.

Financial benefits cover a range of expenses including all academic and Programme related fees, travel costs, accommodation and all social and culture related activities. Participants will be given an official certificate upon completion of their internship.

Candidates are required to fill the application form with all the required details online, submit their resume, an academic transcript, one recommendation letter, statement of purpose, a three-minute self-introduction video and other supporting documents.
