SRINAGAR: The CERN organisation in Switzerland is offering fully funded Administrative for the year 2025 for international students.
The organisation offers opportunities for both undergraduate and master’s students. The internship programme accepts 50 students from various fields, including Translation, Human Resources, Advanced Secretarial Work, Business Administration, Logistics, Law, Finance, Accounting, Library and Information Science, Engineering Management, Science Communication, Education, Audiovisual, Communication and Public Relations, Psychology, Audit, and more. The deadline for applying for the internship programme is August 11, 2025.
The CERN organisation provides a monthly stipend of CHF 3,452, covers all living expenses, airfare reimbursement, eases financial burden for international relocation, offers family allowance (if eligible), medical coverage, and entitles interns to paid holidays, allowing participants to rest or explore Switzerland during their stay.
The eligibility criteria involve that the applicants must be nationals of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State, which includes countries across Europe and select international partners. They must have completed at least 18 months (or 3 semesters) of full-time undergraduate studies in a relevant administrative field, such as Human Resources, Law, Finance, Communications, Translation, or Public Administration. They must remain enrolled as a full-time student at their university for the entire duration of the internship. English proficiency is required, and knowledge of French is beneficial, as both are official working languages at CERN.
The documents required are a clear and concise CV that highlights academic background, relevant experience, and any administrative or leadership roles; official university transcript showing grades and coursework completed so far in your bachelor’s or master’s programme; one strong reference letter from a professor or academic advisor; and specific and thorough information in the “Education” and “Experience” fields.
