SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (BOSE) announced the results of the annual regular examinations for the 10th standard on Monday. The overall pass percentage stood at over 79 percent, with a total of 118,791 students successfully qualifying out of 148,701 enrolled. However, 29,789 students did not meet the passing criteria.

Girls continued to outshine boys in terms of performance. Among the enrolled students, there were 77,422 boys, with a pass percentage of 78.23%. On the other hand, 71,279 girls achieved an impressive pass percentage of 81.68%.

Farhana Imtiyaz and Sadaf Mushtaq secured the highest marks in the class 10 board examinations in Jammu and Kashmir, as revealed in Volume 2 of the results. Both students achieved a score of 498 marks.

Ayesha Hamid, Sayeeda Rubab, Mir Madeeha, and Taha Azmat also performed exceptionally well, obtaining an impressive score of 497 marks each.

Additionally, Faizul Haq, Basirah Bhat, Tabasum Amin, Arooba Shakeel, Fiza Riyaz, Maya Javed, Asmat Bin te Zia, Asma Shaukat, Zareena Mushtaq, Saiqa Jahangir, Barha Javed, Ikhlas Dar, and Ayaan Rasheed attained a commendable score of 496 marks, reflecting their dedication and hard work.

Volume 1 of the results showcased the consistent academic excellence of Pranvi Gupta, Samriti Rajput, Radha Gupta, Seerat Fatima, Sunanda Pandit, and Sneha Sharma, who secured 494 marks each.

Nandni Sharma and Tanishka Sabharwal achieved an admirable score of 493 marks, solidifying their position among the top performers.

Furthermore, Jaswinder Sharma, Sanchita Malhotra, Shally Sharma, Soumya Thakur, and Surbhi Sharma secured 492 marks, highlighting their commitment to their studies.
