SRINAGAR: The Sumitomo Electric Global Internship 2025 in Japan is accepting applications for undergraduate and master’s degree students from around the world. This exceptional opportunity provides a fully-funded internship experience, allowing students to gain valuable industry insights and hands-on experience in a global setting.
The internship programme offers two different duration options, depending on the specific field of interest. Students can choose from a ten week internship, commencing on May 26, 2025, or a twelve week internship, starting on May 12, 2025. The deadline to apply is February 16, 2025.
The eligibility criteria for the internship includes that applicants must have an academic background in a relevant field such as Industrial Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Material Science, Human Resources Development, Physics, and Optics, or Optical Fibres. Moreover, applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as excellent written and oral English communication skills, is also required.
The benefit of the internship programme is that it is fully funded, covering all expenses including accommodation, meals, airfare, and other related costs. Additionally, applicants will not be required to pay an application fee, and there is no need to provide an IELTS score as part of the application process.
