SRINAGAR: ETH Zurich has announced applications for its fully funded *Excellence in Switzerland* scholarship for the academic year 2026, offering international students the opportunity to pursue Master’s programmes in various advanced fields.
According to the university, the scholarship covers 12,000 Swiss Francs per semester, full tuition fee waiver, accommodation, food, transportation, books, and daily expenses. It also provides financial support for the full duration of the Master’s programme, along with a leave of absence option.
Eligible applicants must have an outstanding academic record, typically ranking in the top 10 percent of their undergraduate class with a grade equivalent to A. Candidates must be available for possible telephone or video interviews and cannot already be enrolled in or hold a Master’s degree from ETH Zurich.
The programme is open to Master’s applicants in disciplines such as computer science, architecture, mechanical engineering, physics, science, engineering, technology, mathematics, and related advanced fields.
Required documents include academic transcripts, curriculum vitae, statement of purpose, a self-written pre-proposal, and references from two professors. Any plagiarism or misinformation will lead to immediate disqualification.
