SRINAGAR: Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar has launched a QR-based feedback system across its eight associated tertiary care hospitals and the Hazratbal Block, aiming to enhance patient satisfaction and service quality.
The system enables patients and attendants to scan QR codes displayed at hospital locations, leading them to a digital feedback form. Users can rate services, share experiences, and provide suggestions. The feedback is recorded instantly and made accessible to the administration for analysis and prompt action.
Prof (Dr) Iffat Hassan, Principal and Dean of GMC Srinagar, described the initiative as a transformative step towards patient-centered care. “This system allows us to actively engage with patients, understand their needs, and ensure continuous improvement in service delivery,” she said during the launch event.
The QR-based system promotes transparency and operational efficiency, enabling the administration to address concerns swiftly and identify areas for improvement. The initiative demonstrates GMC Srinagar’s commitment to leveraging technology for efficient healthcare delivery and patient satisfaction.
The launch event was attended by GMC’s Principal, administrators, and medical officers, underscoring the institution’s focus on integrating technology with healthcare services.
