Speaking to reporters, the Chief Minister said, “The last spell of snow has provided us with valuable experience. Wherever the work was effective, it will be repeated, and wherever there were shortcomings, they will be addressed this time.”

In response to a question about the current electricity situation, Omar said, “This year’s situation is better than in previous years, but power cuts still occur. We are striving to provide electricity as per the schedule. Whenever a system faces a snag, every effort is made to rectify the fault as quickly as possible.”

When asked about reports suggesting the name of Jammu and Kashmir may be changed, Omar said, “There is no such proposal, and no one can change JK’s name without the government’s permission.”

He declined to comment on the Centre’s claims that the situation in Jammu and Kashmir has improved following the abrogation of Article 370. (KNO)
