The Jammu and Kashmir meteorological department on Friday said that weather in the state is likely to remain dry till the next four days.

An official of the local Met Department said that the weather conditions across the Valley would remain dry till November 27, 2018. He said the weather will improve from today onwards. A dense layer of fog had also covered many areas of the Valley today morning, including summer capital Srinagar, affecting visibility as motorists negotiated the roads with caution in the poor light.

The night’s lowest temperature in Srinagar was minus 1.0, degree Celsius, tourist destination Pahalgam recorded minus 4.3 and minus 0.2 was recorded in Qazigund.

North Kashmir’s Kupwra recorded -0.6 degree Celsius, Gulmarg was at -2.6, and Kokernag recorded 0.6. degree Celsius

Jammu recorded 8.7-degree Celsius, Banihal was at 3.1, Katra 10.2, Batote 5.3, and Badherwa was at 5.7, degree Celsius. Kargil recorded minus 7.8 and Leh was at minus 7.1 degree Celsius.
