International Yoga Day 2019 In Kashmir: A Photo Essay

Several Programmes associated with International Yoga were organized in Kashmir on Friday photojournalist. Bilal Bahadur visited Srinagar peripheries to cover the different events.

When Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended his first session at United Nations in New York in 2014, one of the things which he ensured is implemented across the globe was ‘Practicing Yoga’.

Acting on the submission made by the Indian government in the world body, UN General Assembly declared June 21 as the ‘International Day of Yoga’ on December 11, 2014. It is now being celebrated across India.
