SRINAGAR: The Special Judge Anti-Corruption, Jammu, has been assigned the additional charge of the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Jammu, following the superannuation of R.N. Wattal on August 31, 2026.
The High Court of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh issued an order on August 31 stating that the Special Judge Anti-Corruption, Jammu, shall hold the additional charge of the court “till the post is filled up on regular basis.”
The arrangement follows the retirement of Wattal, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Jammu, who superannuated on August 31 in the afternoon.
The order was issued by Registrar General M.K. Sharma on behalf of the High Court. The directions were also forwarded to the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Jammu, and the Special Judge Anti-Corruption, Jammu, for information and necessary action.
