Normalcy returned to Kashmir valley on Wednesday after a daylong shutdown call given by the separatist leadership against the killing of two militants and a civilian in Drabgam Pulwama.
Shops, business establishments, government and private offices opened across the valley and both private and public transport plied normally. The Srinagar- Banihal train services have also been resumed today.
A large number of people were seen busy in purchasing different household items from the market.
The valley-wide shutdown call was given on Tuesday by Joint resistance Leadership of Kashmir against the killing of two militants and a civilian during an encounter between the government forces and militants in Drabgam village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
