SRINAGAR: The George Institute for Global Health Fellowships is inviting applications for the clinical programme in Neuroscience and Public health research.

The fellowship is initiated with an emphasis on public health aspects of neurological and mental health disorders, with a focus on epilepsy. This programme would be jointly carried out of the Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana; The George Institute for Global Health India, New Delhi, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, and the University of Hyderabad.

Each fellow will be primarily placed in one of four Institutes.

Only four fellowships are available for the duration will be 3.5 years extendable up to 4 years (it is mandatory for the fellows to complete the objective of the training program to be eligible for a fellowship certificate).

The fellowship start date is November 1, 2022.

The candidates applying must have MBBS or MPH or MPH-PHD or MBB-PhD or MD/MS/Equivalent qualifications from a recognized university/ institution. The applicants who do not have a doctoral degree will be required to enrol in a PhD programme selected and the candidates who are above 45 years cannot apply.

The Fellowships will have grants of 50 lakhs will include personal support and training costs for the complete duration of the fellowship, and the personal support will be as per institutional guidelines and commensurate with the applicant’s qualifications and experience.
