Addressing a public rally in Alipurduar, West Bengal, PM Modi said, “The attack was an attempt to tear apart India’s social fabric. In Pahalgam, terrorists did not just target India; they attacked the soul of humanity and brotherhood. They tried to divide Indians.”

“They had the audacity to wipe away the sindoor of our sisters, but our armed forces showed them the strength of that sindoor,” he added.

Referring to the pain and anger triggered across the country, the Prime Minister said West Bengal too shared the grief. “I could feel the anger in Bengal. I am here to say, on behalf of 140 crore Indians, that Operation Sindoor is not yet over,” he said.

PM Modi said that India had responded strongly to Pakistan and the terrorists. “We gave a decisive response. We didn’t just retaliate; we entered their territory and destroyed terror infrastructure they never thought could be touched.”

“Our army went into their home and struck. We destroyed their airbases and terror camps, sending a message they will never forget,” he said.

He added that India’s approach to terrorism has fundamentally changed and that any future attack would be met with decisive retaliation.

“Terrorism and mass murder have become the core operations of Pakistan’s army. But whenever there is war, they are defeated,” Modi said. “There is no tolerance for terrorism anymore.”

He further said that the world is witnessing India’s unity grow stronger in the face of such attacks. “They tried to break us, but today the world sees India standing stronger than before.”

The Prime Minister said Operation Sindoor would continue, describing the fight against terrorism as a national resolve. “This is not merely a military action; it reflects the collective will of the country.”

He warned that any future act of terrorism would invite a severe and uncompromising response. (KNO)
