SRINAGAR: King Abdulaziz University (KAU) in Saudi Arabia has announced fully funded scholarships for international students for the academic year 2025–2026, offering opportunities to pursue Master’s and PhD programmes in a wide range of academic disciplines.
According to details available on the university’s official portal, the deadline to apply for the scholarship is December 31, 2025.
The scholarship package includes full tuition fee coverage, a monthly stipend of SAR 1,900 (approximately USD 500), an additional allowance for outstanding students, free furnished accommodation, an annual round-trip airfare, health care, and access to research labs, university facilities, and recreational services.
The programmes are open to students interested in fields such as Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Islamic Studies, Business, Arabic Language, Literature, and more.
To be eligible, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree (for Master’s) or Master’s degree (for PhD), demonstrate a strong academic record, and show an interest in research. Applicants must be under 30 years of age for Master’s and under 35 for PhD programmes. A good command of English is also mandatory, with proof required unless exempted. Candidates must also meet the specific admission requirements of their chosen programme.
The required documents include a completed application form, academic transcripts, a passport-size photograph, and a scanned copy of the applicant’s passport.
