The decision comes hours after the university had indicated a possible shift to online classes as a precautionary step in view of emerging developments in the Gulf region.

In a fresh order, the university said regular on-campus academic activities will resume as scheduled, restoring normal functioning across faculties. However, it has retained flexibility in the registration process, allowing students to complete formalities either physically or through online mode until March 27.

Officials said the earlier move to consider online classes was taken as a contingency measure to ensure academic continuity, but the situation was subsequently reviewed, prompting the restoration of offline teaching.

The directive has been communicated to all Deans and heads of departments, with instructions to ensure smooth conduct of classroom teaching from April 1.

Students have been advised to complete their registration within the extended deadline and stay in touch with their respective faculties for further updates.
