SRINAGAR: Child Development Project Officer, Batwara, is hiring for 16 vacancies of Anganwadi Workers (AWW) and 18 vacancies of Anganwadi Helpers (AWH) in Anganwadi centres of POSHAN Project Batwara. The application process commenced on May 20, 2023, and the last date for submission of applications is June 2, 2023. Application should be submitted in the prescribed performa at ICDS Project, Batwara (KonKhan Dalgate Hotel Sahara).

The vacant posts for Anganwadi Workers are located at 16 locations, with one vacant position at each centre.The location includes Batpora A, Burzuhama A, Ikhraj Pora, Khar Mohalla, Kondbal, Mir Mohalla Balhama, Moshpajan, Naikoo Mohalla, Old Nishat, Banigam, Manz Mohalla Ishber, Sheikh Mohalla B, Sofi Mohalla, Teli Mohalla, Theed D, and Upper Buchhwara.

For AWW, the interested candidates must be domicile of Jammu and Kashmir. Women candidates in the age group of 18–37 years are eligible. The minimum qualification shall be 10+2 and the maximum should be graduation. Selection of candidates will be based on marks obtained in 12th. The candidate should be a resident of the electoral ward where Anganwadi Centre is situated. If a suitable candidate is not available, a candidate from the nearest ward can be considered, subject to the approval of the MD, Mission POSHAN.

The vacant posts for Anganwadi Helpers are located at 18 locations, with one vacant position at each centre.The locations are Sheikh Mohalla A, Kral Mohalla, Ganai Mohalla Brein, Sheikh Moghalla Harwan, Chhan Mohalla, Shopri Bagh B, Dar Mohalla Kursu, Kursu A, Vethpara C, Padshahi bagh, Badwara D, Yatoo Mohalla, Kati Mohalla, Khan Mohalla, Chopan Mohalla, Check Dara, Naginar Faqeer Gujri, and Astan Marg Faqeer Gujri.
For Anganwadi Helpers, the interested candidates must be domicile of Jammu and Kashmir. Women candidates in the age group of 18–37 years shall be eligible.

The selection shall be restricted to the electoral ward where the Anganwadi centre is located. The qualification to be eligible for the post is matriculation. If a suitable candidate is not available, candidates with qualification not less than 8th class shall be considered, and the committee shall give preference to needy or destitute married women.

The candidates shortlisted will be required to appear for document verification along with the original documents as well as a self-attested photostat copy of each document, as per the notification. The documents required are a domicile certificate, marks sheet of diploma and degree, date of birth, matriculation certificate, and unmarried certificate (wherever required). Candidates must also bring two passport-size recent colour photos and one original photo ID proof.
