SRINAGAR: Sokendai KEK Summer Student Programme is a fully funded programme by the Graduate University for Advanced Studies for international and Japanese students to participate in research under the guidance of the faculty at KEK Campuses. KEK is a laboratory in Japan with two Campuses in Tsukuba and Tokai.
The programme is applicable for Undergraduate and Masters students all over the world and the programme duration is of eight weeks, running from June to August 2025. The deadline to apply is March 3, 2025.
The programme covers fields like Elementary Particle physics, Nuclear Physics, Material and life science, Accelerator science, Advanced Detection System (Sensors/ Electronics/ Computing) and Theory (computational methods in quantum field theory).
The programme covers, airfares, accommodation fees, daily allowance, and domestic travel costs. There is no application fee and IELTS is also not required.
The documents required involve a CV, official transcript of academic record, application form and a recommendation letter.
