SRINAGAR: The Taiwan International Graduation Scholarship 2026, offered by Academia Sinica, Taiwan’s top research institute, gives international students a great chance to study and do research in many advanced fields.
The application process is entirely online and has begun from November 1, 2025, and will close on February 1, 2026. Students who already have a Master’s degree can apply directly for the PhD programme, while those with only a Bachelor’s degree can apply for the Master’s to PhD programme. Applicants must be under 35 years old, show English language skills through TOEFL, IELTS, or other similar tests, and meet all health and legal requirements of Taiwan.
This is a fully funded scholarship, meaning all major expenses are covered. Selected students will receive a monthly stipend of USD 1,250, along with airfare, visa fee, housing allowance, and health insurance.
To apply, students need to fill out the online application form and upload the required documents. These include academic transcripts, degree certificates, a statement of purpose, three recommendation letters, proof of English proficiency, CV, passport copy, and a thesis abstract.
