Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir (DHSK) on Friday said that Kashmir Skills & Simulation Centre (KSSC)-Trauma and emergency management program has been adjudged as best practice.

“it was one of the best practice at 4th National Summit on Good, Replicable and Innovative Practices in Public Healthcare System in India, Indore, MP,” DHSK said in a statement.

The establishment of KSSC has been shortlisted as one of the best practices in country among the three best practices from J&K by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, the statement added. ‘The other two best practices that were selected from Jammu and Kashmir State included, Role of Facility Based Newborn Care in reducing IMR in the State, and Screening and Orientation of ASHAs on NCDs.’

On this occasion Director Health Services, Kashmir, statement said, Dr Saleem ur Rehman deliberated upon the process of establishment and significance in terms of outcomes and impact of Kashmir Skills & Simulation Centre (KSSC) on health care and the future plans ahead in upgrading the centre.
