SRINAGAR: Turkiye Burslari Scholarship funded by the government of Turkey is inviting applications for the year 2025. There are over 5000 scholarships available, for students all over the globe, willing to pursue graduate, postgraduate and doctoral programme.
The fields applicable for the scholarship include Medicine, Engineering, Business, Social Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Arts, and more. The duration period of the undergraduate programme is of 4 years, master’s 2 years and doctoral programme is 4 years. (All selected candidates must complete a one-year Turkish language course.
The application process is completely online and the deadline to apply is February 20, 2025.
The eligibility criteria for candidates of undergraduate programme includes an academic percentage of minimum of 70 per cent. For Master’s and PhD programmes a minimum of 75 per cent is required. The age requirement for undergraduate applicants is below 21 years, master’s applicants is below 30 years and PhD applicants is below 35 years.
The scholarship provides a full tuition fee waiver, one round-trip airfare, health insurance, free accommodation, and one-year Turkish language course along with a monthly stipend.
The documents required include valid identification card or passport, recent passport-sized photograph, national exam scores (if applicable), diploma or graduation certificate, academic transcripts, international exam scores (e.g., GRE, GMAT) if required by the programme, language test scores (if applicable), research proposal and writing sample (for PhD applicants).
