When you wake up early in the morning,go outdoors,into nature,to appreciate its beauty and it’s importance,and to take forward the call that Nature is beautiful.
Connecting People to nature is a theme and its main motive is to challenge us to find fun and exciting ways to experience and cherish this vital relationship between Humans and Nature.
Above all,everyday for every person gives him/her an opportunity to do something to take care of the Earth or become an agent of change.That something can be focused locally,nationally or globally,it can be a solo action or involve a crowd,everyone is free to choose.
In recent decades,scientfic advances as well as growing environmental problems such as global warming are helping us to understand the countless ways in which natural systems support our own prosperity and well being e.g,the worlds oceans,forests and soils act as vast stores for greenhouse gases such as Co2 and CH3.
Nature’s gifts are often hard to value in monetary terms,like clean air,they are often taken for granted,at least until they become scarce.
Wake up tomorrow and go out and enjoy your country’s national parks and other wilderness areas.Connecting nature can involve all the physical senses:why not take off your shoes and get your feet dirty,dont just look at the beautiful lake,jump in.Take a hike at night and rely on your ears and nose to experience nature.
Imagine if trees gave WIFI signals,we would be planting so many trees and we would probably save the planet too.Too bad na,they only produce the oxygen we breathe.
These days people are doing everything to make this Earth a Mars land by cutting down trees and dumping waste into open lands ,they leave no stone unturned till they will reach their goal of destroying earth.Imagine the life without trees,animals,we will then only regret and can do nothing,so be aware and use Nature’s gifts judiciously and remember next generation will ask the questions.
So,lets pledge that we will not only protect the environment but will create a World where Environment doesn’t need protection.
